Dislikes

There is a disregard for certain employee even if they will be toiling as much as possible while some lift only their fingers and get noticed and get all the incentives. In short, there is bias in the company.

This place involves a lot of politics & no promotion based on ur performance. Promotion is solely based on the no. Of yrs u spend in the company. Another disadvantage is that the company shows a higher CTC however ur take home will be only half of that per month.

There are nice memories of the camaraderie among colleagues at the workplace, celebrating birthdays and even organising parties in their residences as at Diwali. Being a relatively smaller pink paper, there are naturally limits on the salaries and promotional possibilities when compared to more corporatist platforms like the Times of India. But there is a degree of relative workplace and job security at Financial Express that outweighs the negatives.
