Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Superb experience ...but work environment is totally a kind of pressurized .They give salary hike .There is lavish greenery environment. .

Dislikes

There are a lot of politics and the management doesn't address our issues....administrative staff behavior is not gud .They are not supportive.management policies everyday change depend on HOD mood.

I got an exposure and learnt a lot. The head of the institution supported me a lot always. Management and principal do not interfere in teaching and class room management

Dislikes

Staff here involves in gossiping more than learning something new. Principal also gives ears to this kind of people. School is running in two shifts and all the teachers have to be in both the shifts. Excess work load

Nothing at all. If you want to spoil your family life.. join the school !

Dislikes

Many times.. the staff is called on Sundays also.. and many times on the weekdays also.. the staff is made to stay till late evenings
