Hi All, During a job opportunity, when the recruiter asked for my expected CTC, I mentioned 12 LPA, as my previous job's fixed salary was 7.8 LPA. Now, I’ve been shortlisted for the Product Designer role and have learned from some sources that their maximum budget is 14 LPA. How should I approach the negotiation? Would it be reasonable to ask for 14 LPA, considering I initially stated my expectation as 12 LPA? The job is based in Gurgaon, and I have 4.5 years of experience. Looking forward to your advice!

The manager I would say sadist Mr Rajesh based at Bangalore . The leadership team of India supports him because these people came from same organisation previously . HR is nominal . I feel global management should take action on him . He tortured me for 7 months .

Dislikes

Lot of politics, no reason provided for shift in role or promotion. Front line people are protected and we appreciate that but have seen a lot of disadvantage because of that to the regional level role. Yes man is what the management seeks. No fair opportunity for people to justify. No feedback process post the person leaves the company Promotions are made within 1 year if joining for some and others will struggle for 10 years also The 2023 India MD appears to be biased and is known for that through previous organisations also. Dealer makes huge profit , perhaps more than what the company also makes. They are absolutely looting the Indian government and population. The MRP to dealer price has a three times variance

Poorly managed work hours! Yes, there are ineffective managers everywhere not only in this company. They can't tolerate thier subordinate finishing a job on time. So they would consistently keep on changing the original requirement of the job in the name of improvement and want you to finish the updated version on the same day! 🤣
