No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

The owner of the company Parvathy Anantkrishnan is incredibly unprofessional and has the emotional mautrity of a toddler. Employees are constantly bombarded with tantrums and mood swings. The job profile is, to do anything, but the work you are hired for and give ego massages to the 'director'. Goes to show educational qualification and class have nothing to do with each other. If you enjoy to being harassed every waking moment of your work time, please join the organisation. Also, the 'director' is infamous for cheating their employees out of their hard earned money and making up policies as per her convenience.
