Job security is good, if you don't work hard then you don't get good ratings but job is secure.

Working in tata steel is like working for our nation,pay and perks are far better than its peers. Work life balance is great in this company. And there is very less politics, people and officers are very collaborative and supportive in nature. Overall TATA STEEL is great company to work and gain knowledge and experience. Job security is very high as compared to other peers companies.

Dislikes

If you are working in tata steel,then you have to follow all safety guidelines strictly, otherwise you can face some problem. And as I think it is not a demerit of company.

Dislikes

Many people whose salary is very low but not pay revised till now.This salary structure is not acceptable in this company. Jamshedpur and Kalinganagar site rules are very good, but Meramandali site rule is very bad.kindly look into this matter.

Giving open threats about firing employees is not something appreciable from such large steel brand, that's what the job security we have in this plant...

Hello, Current offer from CG - Total 21.5L, fixed as 19.4 and rest bonus Retention offer from Deloitte - Total 19.1, fixed as 15.5 and rest bonus (4L) I understand the offer is less but my manager explained that Deloitte's hikes are better in the market and on an average, I can get 15% every year with good performance. The same hikes in CG are around 5-6% so financially, my salary growth will definitely be more in Deloitte. Please give me suggestions. I have good management and projects in Deloitte with WLB but I would like to have some perspective on offered CTC too
