...eral joinees by provided with high CTC, while actual in hand will be 2/3 or CTC. Increment is on Basic salary only. lateral joinees are taken at lower Basic salary. Highly bureaucratic organization people working in MNC will feel this. Promotion is based on the vacancy within the dept, so no promotion eligibility.

Dislikes

Rather, I would say ISWPL is a good place to work with. Transparent feedback with right career development plan has to be put in place. Skilled based recruitment is what required for organization rather then making multiskilling. It us important to be multi-skilled but not in technical grounds where you need experiential knowledge to crack the issue.

...nts, now they are forced for medicals from TMH which is below par at Jamshedpur. Joining at other locations except Jamshedpur is somewhat better in terms of benefits like salary, mediclaims etc.

... is the worst dept out of all in terms of career, benefits worklife balance etc. Huge salary variations among same designation was pathetic. It all depends on how HR fools you during interviews for least salary showing Tata brand. Tata brand is the biggest caveat which ppl fall for. Tata steel is best for GET, MT etc. DO NOT join as laterals later in life. You'll suffer like anything thats for sure.
