Just had to share this, I got a 100% hike!

I'm keeping this anonymous because I don’t want to disclose it in real life. After two years without a raise, I successfully negotiated a 100% increase at my current company. 1. No competitive environment 2. No skill development for non teaching staff. 3. Lack of proper HR guidelines for new staff 4. Promotions are based on favoritism not on skill sets, work efficiency of a staff 5. Bundle of lies and fancy words by Admin people. 6. Salary revision is like peanuts 🥜 . Many staff are not paid minimum wage salary on basis of Government of India Minimum Wage policy. 7. High attrition rate of teaching and non teaching staff 8. During COVID lockdown, no minimum support of laptop and internet connection for official work to staff who cannot afford laptop and work in remote locations. 9. Red tapisim is very prominent. 10. Suggest the admin to implement more IT based solutions to ease the Academics and non academic tasks

The level was of freedom one gets to experiment and innovate is outstanding. Despite being a private organisation, there's never any constraint faced due to paucity of finance. Such experiments enable everyone to grow in stature.
