Likes

Only the ambience outside the Classrooms and work areas. Everything changes from Monday to Sunday in schools. Non-academic people always dominate the show. Principals/VPs are dummies. Top management believes in use the employees and throw them before the completion of probation itself. All key areas and class IV are occupied by their own caste people, who spy and bite the ears of Management. One has to deposit all Original certificates, both Academic and Experience.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
