The day I found out my colleague earns 30% more for the same role
It was an accidental slip. A teammate mentioned her CTC while we were chatting casually. Same designation, same team, joined after me but her salary was almost 30% more. My stomach dropped. I spent days debating whether to bring it up. I didn’t want to come off as insecure or difficult. But I also couldn’t un-know what I knew. Eventually, I had an honest, data-backed conversation with my manager. Turns out, I was right and they revised my pay. It wasn’t easy, but it taught me this: silence doesn’t protect you. Companies run on numbers. If you don’t negotiate, you leave money on the table. Have you ever been in a similar spot? How did you navigate it?

...ut no concrete thing ever happened in these 4 months for the benefit of lawyers. No compensation or grant was ever thought for their members, they are abandoned. For what purpose, Members are paying the fees every year, when the organisation can’t even support for at least 6 months to their members. It’s all lie, in the garb of membership and few benefits of providing the easy access in the Supreme Court and using the library facilities, organisation is looting a large chunk of money from the lawyers and doing nothing for their members. There was a saying for lawyers, “ A lawyer is a self made man who fights for justice, but nobody fights for him, he is a lone warrior, but in the process, at least he learns to survive in any difficult situation and that makes him a ‘fighter’ I always say, ‘a lawyer in himself a government, a judiciary and an executive, if need arises”
