Just had to share this, I got a 100% hike!

I'm keeping this anonymous because I don’t want to disclose it in real life. After two years without a raise, I successfully negotiated a 100% increase at my current company. I focused on creating significant value and worked in cross-functional teams to learn as much as possible. There were times when I was overworked, but it was all worthwhile. I was confident that it was a mutually beneficial situation. My advice would be to choose your job wisely, create value in the right place, and don't be afraid to negotiate.

The company is open to innovation and really adopts latest technology. In addition, the organization conduct on the job training which helps the employee to grow within the organization. I love the team i worked with.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. the work pressure is very high. managers do not value an individual' unique strengths, which is why i have to take back my suggestions most of the times. Managers do not value my work, is also one of the reason i left the company. i didn’t leave the organization, but i left my boss.

Sun Siyam Iru Fushi is the worst company I have ever worked with. The HR department is deceitful during the interview, they promise a positive resort culture, but in reality, it’s the worst. Salaries always delayed, and they don’t even announce the payout date. This resort ruined my career in Maldives. Management doesn’t care about the employees. If you work here, there is no job security because its easy for them to terminate you. It’s a joke work at this place.

Kitchen dipartment is not good executive chef support only his girlfriend They don't care about line staff if Kitchen line staff not happy with senior chef if management will change so I think it will okk

I wish I could give 0 rating for this 5Star resort never seen such a worst management being a luxury hotel there is no category of work they don’t hire the professional people they keep 1or 2 management people who know the work and they take there Construction people and Gardner to refill the position in Kitchen department so that they don’t have to pay them a high salary and use them at both place even there we faced in Off policy the contract says 4Days off in a month and we faced lots of problem in Off too for 3Months there where such people who didn’t got off and minimum 14hrs shift Maximum how much ever u want to do and the Shifts are Without Over time as they mention they will pay the OT but they don’t and if you try to be smart they will always put you down and make lots of issue in your work.
