Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Everything. The behavior of MD is very selfish. He is only self pocket centric not customer centric. Any customer who took service always complaint. Not only me but many of employees tried to make everything systematic and wow customer satisfaction but only because of MD selfishness nothing happens. Company owes plenty salaries of many staffs.
