1) Office infrastructure is excellent. 2) Salary on time. However in some cases it also get delayed due to inefficiency of HR department.

Complete favoritism & partiality culture. Even company's policy is not been equal for all. At once they will say that promotion is only due once you spend 3 years in the company on the other hand promotion is being given to favourite employee who have spent less than 1.5 years. This is a first company, I came across where HOD's are more concerned about their own appraisal rather than their subordinates. One HOD got double promotion where as employees who have spent more than 8 years in the company is yet to be promoted. The Company has one policy which leads to some appreciation for employees. Even such appreciation is being given to favourite employees only. There are many examples and

has freedom of work and can take independent decisions, job security, promoters interference is nil, growing organisation

Dislikes

personal growth is very slow, salary structure is not as per position/designation, lacks professional culture, HR lacs power to take strong decisions, management has outdated and blocked mindset, some people sitting at top takes biased & wrong decisions, but no one to look after that, seniors prefers appeasement

Spoils your profile.They don't know how to handle manpower.Don't trust the HR here coz they have no policies hence they bluff to candidates in all possible ways before joining. So If u'r from a reputed organization and seeking a job change opt for some other organisation but not Star Cement. This organisation does not provide any Health Insurance also to employees. U will really regret joining this organisation.

No Growth in Special in Sales accounts ,No promotion I have seen till time .CFO can terminate any time he wants directly or indirectly by giving transfer to lumsnong. Ever thing is faltu in front of him

We all might have heard in some point of our career that some CAs, Management personal and Engineers are working as labours in some companies in Middle East.Well for practically visualising this scenario you don't need to go to Middle East you can see it itself here in Star Cement. You may be hired but they don't provide you work related to your profile. In this company Manpower handling is the biggest issue and the Top Management is terrible. HR department is a big liar and they lie to any level. Don't expect any sort of support or guidance here. If you want to ruin your career you can join this company.
