The company had a style of architecture i resonate with and the projects are very interesting and range from villas of popular celebrities and polititians to large scale public projects. The office is located in a posh neighborhood and you are provided with coffee/tea in the mornings and evenings.

Dislikes

...t really have much of a life. Saturday nights are spent in front of the screens. The pay is not even good for an architect residing in a city like banglore. Would not recommend working there, since the environment is very toxic. You never leave before 6pm so forget about seeing sunlight for that period.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
