Working at SRMIST is my dream place in my lifetime, with a good environment, culture, and job security available but a fixed yearly increment only not based on performance-based. Other than many benefits like work-life balance, flexible time, medical facilities.

Compensation is decent, only a fixed increment at the time of joining and not based on performances.

Likes

Its the best University for a reason. Good management, good team. Lots of multicultural students. It's a happening university. You can join and work for 20 years without regret.

Salary for non teaching staff is very less in Admissions

One thing I like here is, You will get the salary on time. Apart from that nothing is good.

In my 3 years of tenure with SRM Institute of Science and Technology, What I have understood is as follows * No Job Security (You might get a backdated Reliving letter if the management wants to terminate) * No appraisal on your salary (For me no hike in 3 yrs also no proper justification is given to me on that) * Frequent changes in the reporting authority * Full of Politics and no proper process in followed * Management doesn't have any clarity on what they are doing * They will contradict their own policies * People will be hired for top positions without any background check

HR policies worst, working employee will be cornered by not working employee. Informers to HR department can will created unwanted problem. There is are various HR like corporate HR, unit HR, Corporate HR are too worst and make the culture complicated. No job security for skilled employee. Each and every department works it is applicable.

This is the Worst University ever, There is no work life balance here , they do not know how to organise and maintain a team , the Director of this university Dr. Sanjay viswanathan doesn’t know how to behave with their Employees. He Abused them always and I don’t know who made him director, He Removed Anyone without any Explanation and without any notice , Their is no appraisal here and if you wanna come here for your growth then this is the wordt place for you,
