Hi All, During a job opportunity, when the recruiter asked for my expected CTC, I mentioned 12 LPA, as my previous job's fixed salary was 7.8 LPA. Now, I’ve been shortlisted for the Product Designer role and have learned from some sources that their maximum budget is 14 LPA. How should I approach the negotiation? There is nothing to like. Don't waste your time working here. Specially freshers, please get experience working at any other place instead.

It's a friends of the founder driven organization. Unless you know them well enough you are worthless. They have friends and family at all management positions and will not allow an experienced and skilled person to progress at all. You and your experience will be used by someone else for their own selfishness. A lot of their teams are under skilled and wrongly experienced.
