• Overload of work, smaller teams handling large work. •Salary less than market standard. • Bossism, favourism, nepotism, leniency in working. • Older folks doesn't want to change their ways of working, which in fact affects everyone's work in team. •Although company policies refrain people from working in leaves, but people keep calling/mailing during leaves/holidays for work.

1. No Value for Education. 2. Handful number of HoDs are not even Graduate Engineers. 3. Few people will never retire in the company, especially the Head of Engineering. Retirement rule is applicable only for few employees. 4. Metallurgical Company fired all Metallurgists during COVID time. 5. Politics in Workplace is tremendous. 6. Management treats old employees very badly. 7. Changes designation whimsically very often. 8. Whenever, the management wants to harass any employee, it shifts the employee to a department in which he can never perform. 9. Promoting all wrong people in various key positions. 10. Not advisable to join this company.

The salary, overall learning opportunity,the work-life balance(they follow a strict 42hrs 30mins weekly work schedule), they pay well for Saturday work

There is a lot of internal politics there which creates a toxic environment and work culture overall

...rrent year privilege leaves at the beginning of next year, which makes no sense. Salary and leaves are two different things. May be it's kept that way because they'll have to pay less as encashment of leaves in case an employee leaves.

Fixed working hours, good metallurgical company. Big name world wide. Nice tag to work for.

Dislikes

...are close to HOD even blatantly elevating diploma engineers over capable people. A specific HVAC Lead will ask to know the value of your salary if you join. Beware of these individuals. In covid season no salary increment. Work from home is a farce. You will not get any work from home. However if you are from some southern state you might get one.
