You get a lot of time for preparation for government jobs and self study.

Dislikes

They were not able to pay salary to the employees for 7 months during lockdown even though the employees had worked online. Also since last year November they are paying only 60 percent of salary. Financially the institution is not stable and they haven't cleared the pending salary till now. If you are a fresher than its a good place to gain some teaching experience and gain experience on office politics.

Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
