The workload is comparatively less. Good for local people but not for people outside the state.

Dislikes

No job security, No salary structure, Zero transparency, There is no proper policy for research grants, leave grants, etc. No respect for your effort. preference is given to selective people only (Near and dear to HR) False promises ( they won't provide what they promise at the time of Joining)

The work culture is good.

Dislikes

They do partiality in everything from salary to workload. Faculties having same qualification also are getting different salary. They don't have structured salary and They don't provide PF to faculties.

...d. No work pressure, no office politics, decent respect from students and staff. Salary is competitive enough. I found everything good here, except for one thing which I mentioned in dislike section.

Dislikes

Major con: Salary is consolidated and not as per scale. The major drawback is, your experience is WORTHLESS if you ever try for government job. That's why if you have a PhD degree and want to join any IIT, NIT, IIIT or central university, do not come here.

Likes

No professionalism. Lots of discrimination between employees. High work pressure. Irregularity in salary. No transparency. You can feel like an African slave.

Dislikes

Authoritarian management. Too much humiliation.

Likes

The students are kind of free spirited. The teachers are nice specifically in the department of civil engineering.

Dislikes

Inter-department politics was at high level. The old HoDs do not appreciate new ideas like inclusion of programming into civil engineering courses.
