The company was newly established in the manufacture of biscuits and wafers but imported the latest advanced types of machinery in this field. within 3 years, it has managed to make a significant contribution to the local, regional and global market. Naturally, my job as a financial manager didn't require business travel, but I was treated by distributors around the world such as US, Germany, Spain, China, Japan, Caribean Countries, which give me additional experience by identifying their systems in many areas, such as handling letter of credits, shipping requirements of those countries with the required certificates and the needs for those markets for our products. In general, the work was enjoyable with the factory team in quality, production as well as with the sales and export department especially while preparing the business plan and its requirements from all departments and sections for further preparation of budgeting and cash flow.

Dislikes

The work pressure is very high as my team is very small so I have to do a lot of work myself and put more effort and time to train them. Sometimes I have to continuously work 12-14 hours in a day to ensure the accuracy of the constraints and figures so that the management accounts are ready when attending the monthly management meeting and also when attending the board of directors meeting on a quarterly basis.
