Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Staffs are Cooperative and Helpful.

Dislikes

Worst Company in Kanpur. They deduct Bonus in the Full n Final Payment. Never pay full amount of salary as mentioned in the offer letter. Managing Director creates unnecessary chaos and abuses to the staff. No working environment and culture in the company. No hr policy framework in the company. No gratuity and No PF deductions in the Company.
