...ick of company shares in CTC for my position level. CTC is almost the basic pay. I mean, my salary with just 1 year exp is more then my parent's salary at retirement. This is the best way I can put it without actually disclosing the figure. Family is quite satisfied and taken care off. The Bengaluru goldhill office recently opened in 2019 and office spaces don't get any better than this as of now. Not a place cramped with just cubicles everywhere, atleast in areas I have access to. It's like a 5 star hotel with gyms, play area etc on every floor. There is automation everywhere. Even water dispensers have sensors. Cafeteria is awesome too. North/South + Veg/Non-veg (4 options) everyday with good variety. I go to office everyday for free food and snacks as of now, even though it's not mandatory at all. Phone and internet bills are paid too! 20k Work from home enabler can be claimed as well.

Nothing as of now. Will edit if required. It's a fairy tale so far. Update after 1 year: The "image" in pros mentioned is just an imagination only that no one imagined to make a reality yet. They are busy making 3rd class software products and are probably competing with infamous CHWTIA companies in the software sector, so that they don't capture softwares running on their machines even in their RnD department. It's unfortunate, Siemens is famous for things unrelated to software and cannot be compared with the top product based companies as of now in any way. Its a shame that they have all the factories, machines and devices in the world and it's tons of data, yet they are so far behind in new age automation which industrial age was famous for. U be here, U chill here, is the culture. Con for me.

Salary is not up to the mark. There is no clear path for promotion and career growth in the company. Salary hikes are also not good, and recognition is lacking.

Working with Siemens was great experience. They use lastest technology in project. I have learnt a lot through out journey in Siemens. It helped me to grow professionally and personally. Most of lead and managers are helpful and down to earth in nature. It was great to be part of SIEMENS

... in other organizations. I must say, the situation at Siemens is very favorable. They compensate extra for on-call shifts, and if your shift falls in the evening, you receive additional pay. Moreover, there are no night shifts; instead, engineers in other time zones cover the night hours, which is a significant benefit. Additionally, the pay is better compared to my previous company. Other likes are- flexible timings, annual gifts, opportunities for skills development, and proper KT. In my previous organization, KT was lacking, and I was often put on on-call duty without adequate knowledge of the product.

Sometimes manager expects a lot . You do your role job ,apart from that they expect you to write articles on the product(just after 4 months of joining), give KT to juniors ,unnecessary meetings and trainings which are annoying.
