Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The company has been able to retain most of her staff through anegotiated policies which has seen all the staff agree to fifty percent pay cut .This has enabled the company to continue paying and sustaining all the staff members even if they are not working.i have invested heavily on online sales which has seen the hotel realise revenue in areas which we had never ventured before. At least this measures has been able to sustain our manpower while retaining us in business so far.
