Skill development/learning is good, no work pressure & tension free

There is a lot of polices and the management doesn't address our issues. Salary is very lowest & career growth is very slow. No job security.

Likes

Good work environment, teammates were very supportive, had opportunity to learn different process, got involved more on documentation side.

Dislikes

...even though there were other inspectors who were well qualified and experienced. They were partial towards localites, like regarding leave, bonus, transport allowance and better positions for projects. Transport allowances were easily approved for Gujarat localites and those from outside state were denied allowances most of the times.

Not a good work environment and culture.Teammates are supportive and the management is not transparent very bad experience.

There is a lot if politics and management doesn’t address our issues.salary base is very down.career growth is slow.Site condition is very bad.

Good relation between field engineers. The branch management attitude is very bad towards field engineers.

Dislikes

No work family life balancing. As cost cutting initiation the branch management stopped hotel accommodation for field engineers and hired one flat with no light and water supply . The engineers needs to clean the rooms, beds and fill water tank manually which placed in the kitchen. And the rooms full of mosquitoes and insects.

Instead of working as a third-party inspector & certification company SGS is providing manpower only in their respective sites like JSL plant, at Jajpur. After joining at their JSL site as a Senior Inspection Engineer (Quantity) I became to know that employees of SGS is working under the authority of JSL. But before joining I was told that SGS was working as a third-party inspector company hired by JSL.
