1. Some managers are exhibit micromanagement and workaholic nature often asking task update or sending messages in late night and scheduling code reviews in weekends. 2. In such situation you cannot expect a work life balance 3. Internal politics - My colleague recently underwent surgery and requested a week work from home to recover. However the manager denied the request and suggested to take LOP. Meanwhile many other employees continue to enjoy the flexibility of working from home without any issue.
