If you are North Indian then they will prefer, and the management hates the South Indian people that to Kannada speaking employees no place at all. Senior people prefer to bring their relatives and close friends whether they the candidate is worth or not. HR is mute spectator and even if you complain they do nothing instead they will target you and make ensure you leave the company at the earliest.
