One flaw I can see is about the salary, you will get a decent pay but it is not given as per the skill/market standard, thus it will force you to look for other option after sometime. Also a high performing employee will get similar contribution from the budget as compare to less performing employee.

Also, you'll get 2000 $ ESOP's that are equivalent or close to 2 lakhs INR that you can withdraw after one year from the date you get the grant. No issue with above, i resigned bcs i have been working for long time and my base salary was too low from standard pay.

Good quality work, good compensation, good yearly hike and bonus and other perks.

Too much of work load, and if you do not like show off , then people sitting in US and London, wont get to know about your hard work. try to bridge the GAP yourself. Specially Database team in India is over loaded. Unix team has double the strength of DB with half the work.

The company had good employee friendly policies. Work from home, good bonus, lots of holidays, good learning opportunities which attracted a lot of good talent back in the day.

The mid level and top level India management has totally ruined the culture which used to be great at one point. These people are just people managers , not managing any work stream but they poke their noses in everything. There is concept of local reporting as compared to work reporting in most companies. These local managers more often than not , abuse this power. They hold unnecessary meetings or activities say every day in the week and they delegate their own work to their reportees using the reporting line. All without the knowledge of US or London management, so all this work and time spent goes unaccounted - just will please the local manager. Being free , the local managers have ample time to just play politics. At any point of time , if you say no or cross them in the slightest way , they make sure that your growth in the company is totally hampered. This ensures that India talent never comes up fully or is realized to full potential due to which any new project is never given to Indian folks.
