Working at Rrootshell was great experience for me. From First day, i got work from home, which helped in balancing work and personal life. Company offered my support in learning new skills and latest technologies by giving technical traininigs. My Manager Aditya G and HR Nandini along with Rao from finance were always phone call away to resolve any issues, unlike my previous company where everything needed to done with tickets and schduled meetings. My client manager was also very supportive and we had great team. Some of our team is in California. Things have been changing recently with my current client to so had to change otherwise who have continued working with Rrootshell. Its great working place and good environment to grow. I regularly got hikes and incentives for appreciation which is also very good.

Dislikes

Only thing i feel little bad is, i worked with only one client from begining. Because of this, i did not get chance to work with different work environments. The company policy does not allow working on multiple projects at same time to ensure less work stress and WL balance. In previous companywe used to work on multiple projects same time but not here.

I'm working as a software engineer from June 2022, working on emerging technologies and have received good support throughout, they provide training for all required tools and very supportive in the project. Good projects to work on and project assigned to me is a long term project with great exposure to technologies and learning.

Very unprofessional management and highly screwed policies.There is nothing which can be liked about the company. They promised too many things before joining and had the same documented in the offer letter but they did not honour any of the things mentioned.

Dislikes

They don't have the basic infrastructure including the washroom facilities. I was getting reminded of railways washroom everytime I had to use the facilities.Its not a IT company but a consultancy which only provides their resources to work for other clients and earn profits at the expense of the employees.

They are just a company who sugarcoats and gives fake promises to get their work done. They rejected my resignation couple of months back and made me stay back claiming that they would match the offer that I am getting outside. But the reality is that they did not even give me the basic hike I deserved after the year completion even after good appreciation from client and also they terminated me immediately a day after they got to know that I am pregnant. Disgusting.
