Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology. I love my work as an assistant cook and being part of the team that markets reliable, high quality product and has a global client base. As a result, I get to travel abroad especially on Asia.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent but qrowth is slow. The work pressure is very high sometimes, I have to work 12- 17 hours in a day as I have to attend client call in the evening . Managers do not value individuals unique strength, which is why I take back my suggestion most of the times
