I think HR team and other departments are having less one to one interaction. Salary should increase if we consider work load.

Compensations are not seems fixed for roles. It might happens the person you are guiding getting ×2 compensation than you. So don't be curious about others compensations, if want to happy here.

...licies are in favour of employer. Never expect in surprise gifts from company. Variable pay is almost never get paid fully, they always give excuses. Every appraisal discussion is - you are paid very well as compared to others. And company is having financial issues next time you will get good pay. Overall they are exploiting good working employees.
