...ch projects in the pipeline, thus, very less growth and learning opportunities. Salary is low and not as per current market and there is a 15 months bond for the bonus we get. No job security as you would be laid off anytime.

If u get a good ML project u can learn a lot as an MLE as most people abv smle don't code much, so u can learn an entire project from POC to production and a lot of new techs to learn, fast-paced learning curve (2-3 years), if u are abv smle then most work is to talk to clients and manage people so more free time. But if want to learn u can team up with r&d or take at ur interest and can excel also.

ML services to standard TCS type, lot of non ML projects, pay far less to industry pay, poor quality of hiring esp from late 2021, tech architects managing ML projects who don't know ML, mass hiring like TCS from 2021, attrition is over the roof, avg stay

As there are different roles for different works so there will not be much load like there are data engineer to handle data, platform engineer will handle cloud related things so a ML Engg. will perform his own work. Transparent system. No Sir , Ma'am culture. Good work life balance. U will do certification to upskill. Flexible work hour. Flexible in wfh, hybrid, wfo.

... more than 12 hrs a day for more than a year) - Leave policies could be better - Every Yearly bonus comes with a claus of retention for next 1 year which is pathetic.
