Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Dislikes

Lot of politics. Not employee friendly company. When asked for work from home during emergency they cut salary or ask to apply leaves. No processses are followed. Just one mistake and you are out of the company. No feedback during work is given to the employee when he has newly joined and doesn’t know about style of work in the organisation and they just fire you in case of any mistake.
