No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?

In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

If I talk about skills development then that's very good ...as you will learn much about the real estate but if I talk about salary and incentive part then this company is worst in this matter as they don't give you full salary according to your work even they don't identify your hard work and this way you can't get motivated, they just die for revenue and if revenues generated by sales then only upper level will eat and those who is doing hard work will not get anything.

...nagement is transparent. There is huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisal are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

There is a of political and the management doesn't address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. There is a bond of 2 year before which you cannot resign. On the job training is not given to New joinees.

Propshop has a dynamic environment when i joined the company i came to know that the top line in the company is intact since 11 years not even a single person has left the company since then the directors and ADs. I worked there for long 3 years and have to leave the company just because i have to relocate after my marriage. I worked under the director Sajan Patel he was gentle and kind person very strict in punctuality but thats ok

There are lot of trainings which are so regular that even if you don't like real estate you will love being in the job, sometimes over working hours when there are events but i use to love it as i earned good money in my tenure .
