Despite being a hardworker salary did not motivate me. It's an universal problem among the junior dentist in my opinion.

Likes

There are very few people who actually help you learn. Consider yourself lucky if you get a good mentor. Apart from getting a mentor, there is nothing good in working at a private clinic

Dislikes

1. Working on percentage basis in a private dental clinic is a scam. All old patients will want the senior dentist to work on them. 2. The payment offered is miserable. On an average a dentist working at a private clinic will be offered nothing more than 15000. After putting in so many years in education and practice and so much money into this course, a lifetime would be less to get returns out of it. 3. Work timings could be a problem if the person hiring you is inconsiderate of your personal life.
