Salary but that's a trap. It was good before Engineering managers joined Preqin.

Micro management. Fake pipeline. 70 percent of people are running ETLs. Dumbest Engineering managers team. Better stay jobless than spoiling your skills.

Salary is very less in preqin for data operations associate although they provide more the 16 lakhs package for engineering people

Culture and work. Good work life balance. Good learnings. It is great company unless your role is redundant.

Job security. You need to be careful when you can be redundant, they fire redundant employees but with a very good severance

The HR Department is non existent and work solely as puppets of london team. Managers are ineffective and clueless about their roles. Selfish team leads and Lead developers. leads and lead developers take credit of others work and never appreciate. They are selfish and think in a way to save their job anyhow. Scrum master behaves like she is the CTO or COE. one of the reasons for downfall of this company. redundant roles of VP EVP of technology along with managers and scrum masters. No idea why they are in company. seems like all of them do is people management in a way. Has a history layoffs consecutively in two years. Certain guys are promoted to staff who lack in Coding and practical skills and have never written a code. These guys rely on some google university data and people blindly follow these guys.

Working here gives good exposure to venture capital and private equity markets.

Dislikes

Most teams here has good culture and are generally great to work in. Deals team has terrible culture and micro management. Politics is off the roof and management is unwilling to take any serious action.
