Initially for starting career, PB is good organization, but If you expecting more than that then it will be not a good option. Job Security is good with work life balance, SAT & SUN are off here. Company Culture is good and Subordinates are very cooperative in nature.

There are no promotions, low salary for Contractual Employee. Increment is on yearly basis, but it is too low.

Being a Government job and credibility is on top ,paper work and approval are to many which is a time consuming but being a Government channel and credibility,dignity,loyality is on top priority this is very important

Prasar bharati Doordarshan is a government organisations, Generally professionals have very little scope to implement the things they want to. In government organisations everything is under control of babus they have limited skills and have very little market experience. In fact private professional either have their own private work or who worked have a say to boss worked their.

Very bad department in Central Government. All government employees harashment to Contractual worker any day in any time. He treat contractual worker like a animal. All government official and officers threat any time to contractual worker and saying i will fire you.

Prasar Bharati is an excellent organisation to work with. Prasar Bharati is India's public service broadcaster and working in this organisation gives the satisfaction of working for people of India that no other broadcasting organisation can give.
