Working in the accounts deptt. here is like being trapped in jail. U are constantly monitored by CCTV cameras. The moment you step away from your desk for even a brief break, u are immediately called out, creating a boiling atmosphere. The work environment is chaotic, with no clear system or structure in place to guide u. There is no inhouse CA. Most of the taxation and accounting work done through outsourcing. U will even to deal with a lot of "Kaccha" tasks. If u are considering joining the accounting division, think THRICE. The lack of support, clarity and proper workflow creates a frustrating and soul draining experience.
