Salary is good, dont settle for less ask for more while joining. It all depends upon the team, dont expect much hike or bonus if your manager is a psychopath or pseudo feminist

The company culture is a joke in many teams, too much micromanagement for global services, It operations, pc support, Data operations team, if you land in any one of this job, run. Leadership is extremely poor in COE side, they directly jumped from third grade service based industry with the same culture and mindset and has shown little to no adaptability and improvement towards paychex existing culture. Hr team is a joke, they wont be available 95% of the time, and the attitude they posses is next level, they will make you treat them like your slave, especially vivek. Good people needs to come to Hr team in the role of vivek and shiv*** b**tt Politics is next level, they wouldnt hire much candidates from outside, because they think interal hiring can bring better culturally fit candidates to the team, but internal candidates are a joke and posses no culture at all. People in leadership have no job other than micromanaging the engineers, if they are following agile, then why things have to be micromanaged, because the managers doesnt even know the basic concepts of agile, they are here for 25-30 years, not updating anything to the current standards and showing lot of racism towards Indian folks. Once I and my manager were wearing same color blazer, I told her in conversation basis, “look we are same and matching today” . She immediately went inside and changed the overcoat and told me that “No, we are not same”. Do they think we are living in some kind of slavery era. On top of this you can expect pseudo feminism, favouritism, racism, micromanagement and literal psycho path in leadership. They will only be in favour of woman employee even though they did 1000 production mistakes, if you do a single documentation error(not even prod one) you are out. Yup they will terminate you. And the reason they give will be biggest joke, full of poor politics, drama and other crap As I mentioned previously, not every team is like this but more then 95% in global services and 40% in IT are like this, if you are confident that you wont fall into that category, feel free to take the job.

Nice place with ample opportunities. You get a lot of opportunities to grow. Prompt recognitions and monetary benefits are excellent. The US folks are really supportive and collaborative.

Dislikes

Another great company spoiled by inefficient HR team. Paychex really being a fast growing company and on par with the pay masters in the market, could do a lot better. The HR people have no clue about how the world works. No internal surveys, feedback systems available. No people engagement factors/events. Company really messes up with seating and office space. They really demotivate people from coming to office. The BPO is occupying all the spaces and the office becomes chaotic post 5 PM. You can’t even attend meetings in peace. And for no reason, the AC would be too cold. You can’t even tolerate the colder climate inside. People fall sick because of this. No action on this. Insurance sucks, no life coverage, no top up on health. Half the time your payroll would be erratic. And no one from HR is seen in the office or online ever. I could see the company fumble with the growth plans if this continues.

Learning curve and most of the salary in fixed income.

Dislikes

No benefits. No respect for your time in company. Also India mgmt is shit, they behave like pimps to US mgmt. No ethics no moralities. Indian mgmt treats does not treat you equally. Any innovation is applaused, if US person explains same concept these managers will accept it. Indian Manager are not technical and they want to behave like boss for technical leaders. i would say avoid as much you can.

Work Life balance is good, company work environment is excellent. But company needs to work on providing faculties to employees, like Health insurance is deduction from salary. And only one way cab facilities. This needs to be improved.

Onshore leaders are amazing to work with they really do care about there team. Overall Paychex is very good place to work where every individual is treated with equal respect. There is so much to learn and explore new horizons.

Dislikes

They gave snacks but maximum time chips which is unhealthy. They should opt for some healthy alternative.
