New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

I joined ParamInfo two years ago as a software trainee but today I am working here as a Senior Tech Lead. All thanks to the good training provided by my manager, who not only trained me in technical skills but also taught me professional skills as well. Since the day I joined the office, I never felt like I should be leaving this workplace. Here people are hired from almost all parts of Dubai and India, and they all maintain a healthy balance of different cultures.

Dislikes

The company's policies are good, they even offer appraisals and provide good salary hike based on performance. Every employee here is provided with bonuses as they complete a year. Overall, ParamInfo has a good work environment and culture.

...ntly say that this is one of the Best Companies to Work and has a Great Culture. The pay and benefits are excellent, the culture is welcoming, and the team is supportive. I have no regrets about ParamInfo, and would highly recommend it to everyone. We have found them to be flexible with us when it comes to scheduling and very accommodating of any requests that we may have. They provide an outstanding work-life balance and support their employees when they need a break or take time off.
