If you can bear the cons, just work for 6 months to 1 year to gain experience. You can learn politics. Except the management, rest of the employees are good.

Dislikes

...om-home options, rigid schedules and no consideration for employees' well-being. Poor Salary Hikes: Annual increments, if any, are negligible and demotivating. No Workplace Culture: Rare team outings or initiatives to boost morale. No Work-Life Balance: Unrealistic expectations force employees to work like machines and after office hours. Ideas Are Ignored: Management asks for suggestions but rarely implements them, always citing excuses like "no budget" or "not the right time". Investor-Driven, Not Employee-Focused: Decisions prioritize profits and stakeholders over employee satisfaction. Rigid & Absurd Rules: Employees must adhere to impractical policies that hinder productivity. Toxic HR Practices: HR (especially Sruthika) is biased, plays office politics, and even frustrates managers. No Cafeteria & Rationed Refreshments: Employees are only allowed two servings of either green tea or milk tea per day - choosing one means forfeiting the other. Asking more is strictly not allowed. This level of "Penny-Pinching" and control over basic necessities reflects exploitative and stingy behavior. Old Company, Start-Up Mentality: Despite being nearly 2 decades old, it operates with the same instability and chaos as a startup.

Ochre Media has many issues that make working here difficult. HR Issues: Shruthika, from HR, shows clear favoritism and partiality. She doesn’t treat everyone equally, which creates a toxic environment. Lack of Learning: There's no real growth in terms of subject knowledge. You don’t gain any new skills or knowledge. Unnecessary Rules: The company has ridiculous rules that make no sense. Dress Code: The dress code feels unnecessary and strict for no good reason. Break Times: Break times are limited and not flexible. HR's Behavior: HR addresses male staff in a very casual and disrespectful manner, calling them "eyyy" or "orey," and talks down to female staff, calling them shameless. Managers: The managers are controlled by HR and don’t have a say in decisions. They act more like puppets. No Cafeteria: There is no cafeteria, which makes it hard to get a meal during work hours. No Open Communication: Employees are not allowed to discuss or talk about work matters openly; it’s like being treated as robots. No Flexible Work Hours: There’s no flexibility in work timings, making it difficult to balance work and personal life. Poor Yearly Hikes: Yearly hikes are disappointing. After working hard, you can expect only a small increase and moreover no recognition of work. Overall, it’s not a healthy or productive environment to work in. Save yourselves if you want a peaceful and stress free life !!!!!!!!!!!!!
