Very chill environment, all the staff is very supportive.

Dislikes

Back stabing, no scope for future growth, low salary, stingy people. Gaurav Seth will form personal grudges with over time without your knowledge and will make sure to make your hell.

Likes

Work environment is good. My team mates are also very good and supportive. Management is also very good. Food in the cafeteria is also good and have variety. Company policies are really good. Appraisals and bonus is excellent.

Dislikes

Salary is below par the industry standard, as per the IT department. Also should mention that for IT employee on job training should be like OCLD employees.

Oberoi group of hotels is a big name and it deems fit that it holds an importance in the industry. Being part of the company for so many years, I realise the service standards are indeed commendable. Lots to learn and various opportunities to execute your learnings as well.

Dislikes

...nvironment is pretty strict - like we are stuck in the British era of hierarchy. Which means, there is a significant difference in pay among lower and higher management. Less transparency and often gaslighting employees with promises / information.

Likes

Everything at the Oberoi’s is done in a traditional manner. It’s a really good company to work as it offers plenty amount of growth within the company and provides Job security too to its valuable employees.

Dislikes

Like other hotel sectors, pay roll of Thor employees can be improved, otherwise there is no con in working in this organisation.

People make the place and not the opposite and same experience I had when I worked in Oberoi group. Work environment and work life balance is how you wanna make it for you. You learn explore new things like catering to people with different kind and background and demands was a luxury business property. I did enjoy my time working here.

Dislikes

Growth is slow but worth once you grow with it. Salary is also less. Both of the very reasons why I moved out of Oberoi's.
