Working for NXT was one of the most difficult working experiences I've ever had. The children where the highlight for me, see most of them change as they grew up in my time there. However, it was hard to enjoy my time as the politics of the management cast a shadow over it, the unprofessionalism was hard to look past and I put myself in many avoidable situations had there been the proper support and processes been followed.

Dislikes

I found the treatment of staff incoherent of the culture they try and perceive themselves as. As a care system working closely with SEN children the empathy and level of care is alarmingly low. I have felt less supported in a job role, I was fired because I had a conversation with one of the managers where I was expressing my opinions. i left that conversation feeling disrespected and completely unheard. I wasn't given a warning nor further contact and I heard I had been fired from a coworker, they're completely unprofessional and couldn't care less about their employees. Going through 3 members of staff in just 1 month. Managers have unsafe relationships with the service users, messaging when on holiday, meeting up at night. With no safeguarding reports being made or policies being followed. If you are a professional in the care Industry, please do not work for this company.
