Just had to share this, I got a 100% hike!

I'm keeping this anonymous because I don’t want to disclose it in real life. After two years without a raise, I successfully negotiated a 100% increase at my current company. I focused on creating significant value and worked in cross-functional teams to learn as much as possible. There were times when I was overworked, but it was all worthwhile. ... the salary is being paid in local currency Naira which has evaluated seriously. When I joined Northwest University my salary was approx 3500 USD and now net salary is less than 2000 USD/ month as the black market exchange rate of Naira to USD is very high more than 500 nairas/ USD which is seriously affecting expatriate staff.

Favoritism in Academic. Academic planning didn't allow expatriate staff for conferences. He will find some way to stop or cancel your submissions. Even higher level officer are cooperative except some of lower level officer.
