As a fresher, I chose to work with Niyeahma for three reasons: 1. The salary component offered was decent compared to other firms or companies in the market, especially for law students coming from Non-NLUs 2. The 5 day work week system 3. The 10-7 work timings suited my preference I have now worked with the firm for 9 months now and here are a few things that I have observed and like: 1. Training: While initially my colleague and I weren't provided any formal training regarding the subject matter that we had to deal with or our job profile, the senior management was highly responsive towards our requests for training and since then there have been dedicated training sessions for all those interested. 2. Senior Management: As I said in the first point, the senior management is very responsive towards the well being of the employees. Our grievances are given due attention and resolved to the best of their ability. 3. Young and Dynamic team: I am part of a very young and dynamic team so the work environment is pretty vibrant so it never gets too boring 4. Scope for freshers and people wishing to seek job after a career break: One of the best things about the organisation is that they are open to hire freshers like me. I also have colleagues who joined after a career break of preparing for competitive exams, and women who are joining back after a career break 5. Another very good thing about the senior management that I have observed is that they are supportive towards employees pursuing professional courses like CA, CAMS 6. While the organisation is strict on the 8 hour work timing, we are rarely expected to work beyond our work hours. 7. Growth opportunities: Since the organisation is growing very swiftly, I have had the opportunity to work and lead diverse set of projects, which has helped me learn new skills that are beyond my job profile. *I haven't yet gone through an appraisal cycle so I cannot comment on that but my colleagues have had satisfactory remark about theirs.

Dislikes

Overall I have liked working here but there are still some aspects that the organisation can improve upon: 1. Scope for Self Development: While the company has taken initiatives in the past for team building and overall development of employees, it would be great if the organisation would focus development of employees with maybe sessions on personality development, skill development etc 2. Standardisation of HR policies

I'm new at Niyeahma and still on probation but I like the way management is there to help you. If you have personal reasons because of which you cant do on site job, the management is supportive to help you with proper infrastructure and flexibility to do your job. Also, they are supportive to give you tasks of your liking.

Dislikes

As it has been only 2 months, cant comment on this for now.

If you want to pursue a career in the field of compliance and that also in the emerging field of Anti Money Laundering, then this is the best organisation for you. The organisation itself is growing so there are a lot more opportunities for you in the organisation.
