Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Good for all departments except REGULATORY AFFAIRS

Dislikes

Mental harassment Different policies for an individuals Different bond policies for same level individuals No Work Life Balance (USA office- 5 days working and India office- alternate off and No flexible hours) You need to come to office during holidays though it's not an urgent call. Poor management in Regulatory Affairs No induction training provided Lots of Rework
