The day I found out my colleague earns 30% more for the same role
It was an accidental slip. A teammate mentioned her CTC while we were chatting casually. Same designation, same team, joined after me but her salary was almost 30% more. My stomach dropped. I spent days debating whether to bring it up. I didn’t want to come off as insecure or difficult. But I also couldn’t un-know what I knew. Eventually, I had an honest, data-backed conversation with my manager. Turns out, I was right and they revised my pay. It wasn’t easy, but it taught me this: silence doesn’t protect you. Companies run on numbers. If you don’t negotiate, you leave money on the table. Have you ever been in a similar spot? How did you navigate it?

Demotivating seniors they are very toxic, Specially Nitin from the Pune office is the worst senior I ever had in my life, There is no work-life balance, you will be tortured to finish your work or else they will demean you and make you feel you are good for nothing if you don't value yourself and want to get depression in less than a week, then you should join this clown company

There are no pros working under toxic management at all

Dislikes

I've been working at Neotas in the due diligence department in Mumbai for almost two years, and it's been a really tough experience. I wanted to share my honest feedback about the work environment, which has been quite negative, mostly due to the behavior of our manager, Nikita Pawar. Nikita Pawar, the manager of the due diligence department, has created a toxic work environment that makes it very hard to stay motivated. She is extremely toxic and often engages in body shaming. It's not uncommon to hear her making inappropriate comments about people’s appearances. She frequently gossips and speaks poorly about team members behind their backs, which is very unprofessional and creates a lot of mistrust among the team. One of the worst things about working under Nikita is her micromanagement style. She constantly hovers over us, checking every little detail and not giving us any autonomy in our work. This makes it very difficult to feel confident or take initiative because it feels like she doesn't trust us to do our jobs properly. The constant scrutiny is really stressful and has a negative impact on our productivity and morale. Nikita also has a tendency to openly abuse people on the floor. She doesn't hesitate to shout and use offensive language, which is extremely humiliating and demoralizing. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional but also creates a hostile work environment. It's very difficult to focus and perform well when you're constantly worried about being publicly berated. Furthermore, she deliberately gives bad rankings to people she doesn’t like, regardless of their actual performance. This unfair treatment affects appraisals and career progression. It’s disheartening to see hard work go unrecognized just because of personal biases. Many of us have felt that our appraisals have been stopped or unfairly downgraded due to her vindictive behavior. The overall atmosphere in the office is very negative, and it’s largely because of the way Nikita handles her team. Her behavior has driven many talented people to leave the company, and those who remain are often looking for other opportunities because they can’t stand the toxic environment any longer. I hope this feedback helps to bring some necessary changes in the management and improves the work culture at Neotas. It's a great company with a lot of potentials, but the toxic environment created by managers like Nikita Pawar is driving good employees away.

They care about the employees, which I have not seen in most of my previous firm. They are working to get organized and meeting deadlines but seeking towards improvement and making a flexible place to work. They organize a lot of outing and group activities. Provide timely communications and feedbacks

They are unorganized but they are trying to become one. They are bad at meeting deadlines but have the will to improvise.

Overall it's a good organisation. It's a young company so, things are yet under progress. Learning opportunities are great if are passionate about OSINT, SOCMINT etc. So, i would rate 4 on 5.

Can't dislike the organisation as they have been pretty supportive and even when people were loosing their jobs during Pandemic Neotas took care of its employees despite of the odds. The only thing is, the organisation is young and yet growing. So, a heartfelt thank you to Neotas.
