Japan is a clean country. If you are from Europe, the Japanese boss will not pressure you. They love to decorate labs by the west.

Dislikes

1. Many of them try to get by very low salary. 2. Hierarchical structures create pressure. They unofficially pressurize at weekends and nights often. 3. Ethics is low. They can take your idea if you are intelligent and can kick u out of the group. 4. Japan is a depressed country. It is nice to watch them from the West but working for a longer time is a mess.

Likes

NIMS is equipped with good instruments, a pension scheme, dynamic work culture. Japan is a very clean and safe country.

Dislikes

Japan however pressurize a lot for work. They discriminate between European and Asian students. Though there is a provision for complaining to authority, but scientists misbehave and pressure their students in many ways.
