Bad infrastructure at the peripheral hospital.Short staffed in most of them.No special benefits to the employees.Almost all are underpaid.

Very good improvement in MCH Services like high risk pregnancy tracking and maternal death reviews and child death reviews. Effective VPD SURVEILLANCE and Overall improvement in Patients care. Also focus on QUALITY work. Glad to be part of NHM.

Dislikes

...re not being taken in service bye laws, no benefits except 5% annual increment. Overall salary falls below Nursing Officers and BAMS Doctor's. THERE SHOULD BE EQUAL WORK EQUAL PAY.

Time pe salary na milna..Increment proper nahi lgta hai..Post ke according kaam nahi liya jata..Bahut he humiliation aur anxious environment rehta hai work place par...Adhikshak ke dwara bahut negotiatig aur partial behaviour hota hai...Sanvida karmi hai esliye hamesha naukri se nikalne ke dhamki dete hai letter bna dete hai...Har month salary kaat le jaati hai...Bahut he worst hai!

Work is not hectic except in case of night duty. Pay is on time . Work conditions are often poor and there is no skill building . Good for a few years in between ug and pg.

Mostly situated in rural areas . So travelling is a bit of a hassle.

Dislikes

Since this job is purely contractual so, there is no job security. In addition career growth is extremely slow, as they don't provide any PG quota as provided by PCMS.
