No job satisfaction. HOD is like school master. No scientific temperament. He thinks he is only perfect and others are totally waste. Not at all broad minded. He wants to review each and every project personally. No encouragement for the scientists who can take responsibility. Literally kills confidence and spirit of scientists. No space for middle management, retired persons only rule. Lot of ego and politics.

Some of the colleagues were helpful and cooperative.

Dislikes

Lack of diversity, lack of job security, lack of inclusion, exploiting the freshers in the name of trainees with bare a minimum salary, no job-related benefits, and heavy work load. The head of the HR (P&A) department is rude and ill-mannered. A high degree of subordinate mentality is draining the company. Further, most employees (researchers) aren't even aware of why they are performing certain experiments.
