Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Company is following the who guidlines and taking care of their employees by providing them safety essentials at work place. And the company has supported me in this covid-19 pandemic during lockdown by giving full compensation to manage our lives..its my pleasur to working such a good company.

Dislikes

All are good. But the facility related issue will take much time here to resolve and some time it will not.
