New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

It's that the current job location is my hometown

Dislikes

It's just a manpower hiring agency, no organisation as such. After recruitment, the company is at the most involved by paying the salary. No extra benefits. No support from HO and HR. No incentives for working hard. No skill set development. They are only concerned about the percentage they receive on your behalf when the client pays.

Some Colleagues are very Supportive. Office Party in every 2-3 months

Dislikes

No Work life balance, you have to work continuously 12-18 hours. They keep telling you that they are giving you more salary compair to other person, I don't understand why they say like this they open office in a tech park that cost monthly ₹25 Lacks. Seniors are dumb, Manager never interect with you (Even if you are facing some issues with senior). They will never confirm you probation even after 3 months and you keep working like robot. You will not get leave during probation (Even after probation also) if you take than Salary will be deducted. Politics is too much and for there favourite person they allow WFH.

The top management are all without exception consistent and compulsive liers. They don't pay salaries or contract workers on time. Do not understand the scope of work . Non professionals try to run professional department and give irrelevant gyan .

There is no value of your talent. No incremnet, no facilities, no compensation, no advance for tour. No payment scheudle. Company depend upon client, if client will give then compnay will provide you salaries otherwise not. But during covid company provide flexible time for work, you can do your job from home. In covid company gave full payment to it's employee. In covid situation company gave better support to staff.

No increment and no value of talent.
